I like the Reserve mouthpieces. I have been playing the X5 but many like the X0. They are about the same price as a Vandoren. It would be nice if she could try the Vandoren 5RV Lyre, Reserve X0, X5, and M13 Lyre. If finances are the issue go with the Debut. Much better than the Yamaha.
