We do ours though a sound pad (Yamaha) - send me an email and I can send you the file we use.

I know it's over done but...
How does everyone pull off that bass drop effect in marching band? Where to get the sound? Do you play it on a synth, drum pad, or computer? What speakers do you use to make it sound good?
I would like to use it once in my show this year.
