Unfortunately it's going to be really hard. I know a guy who got into some fraternity shenanigans in college and has a misdemeanor on his record. He managed to get a job while the court process was ongoing, but as soon as he was convicted and that district found out about it, he was let go mid-year. He spent about 10 years floating around doing private lessons, marching band teching, and working for DCI groups while applying all over the state. He finally got another full-time job this year, in a big suburban district. I don't know how exactly he got through their background check, but it might be because he's good friends with the head director there.
It's not impossible. It's difficult. I would seriously reconsider life choices and look at other career options.
