Re: Trailer question
A gooseneck on a long trailer is a very good thing. We had a 32 foot gooseneck that handled better than our 17 foot. Less chance of the trailer bouncing around on the highway. Very stable.
We are looking to purchase a new trailer but admin has told us that we need to purchase a gooseneck enclosed if we get one longer than 18 feet because it will be easier to pull and less likely of getting out of control while pulling it.We currently have a bumper pull 18 foot and have found several 24-foot bumper pulls with a reasonable price. What do you have and do we really need to get a gooseneck? Is adding six more feet to the end of what we already have really going to make that much of a difference with a bumper pull trailer?
