A Waterman Edson emerald green mechanical pencil with gold plated cap and trim and complete with the original documents and boxes. The pencil is in excellent condition with lovely translucent colour and still with an unused eraser.
Dating from the 1990s the emerald green pens and pencils from the 1990s are one of the rarer Edson colours, along with ruby red. The Edson was introduced in 1992 with the sapphire blue pens, followed by the emerald and ruby pens and pencils. The emerald and ruby pens and pencils were discontinued around 2000 so are rarer than the blue and the pencils are much harder to find than the pens. Edson production ended in 2015. The Edson pens and pencils were Waterman’s finest in both design and quality.

The cap has the imprints “Waterman” on the front of the cap band and “Paris” on the rear. The clip has the imprint “France” on one side and the serial number: 037765 on the other. The pencil is in excellent condition, and a beautiful match for the fountain pen. The pencil comes in the Edson blue presentation case which has some crazing on the lid typical of these cases but is otherwise in good condition. It case comes in the original white card box with the Edson documentation and Waterman pencil leads.

This is an opportunity to recreate the classic pairing of fountain pen and mechanical pencil.
