A beautiful Waterman Edson sapphire blue ballpoint pen with gold plated cap and trim, as impressive as the matching Edson fountain pen. The shows no signs of use and is in “as New” condition. It comes with the blue Edson case and outer card box and Edson document. The box contains an unused Waterman refill and there is a cartridge in the pen. The boxes etc are also in good condition though the blue Edson case has the usual crazing on the top.
The cap has “Waterman: on the front of the cap band and “Paris” on the reverse. One side of the clip is engraved “France” and the other side is engraved with the serial number: 049941.

The Edson is generally recognised by collectors to be the finest modern Waterman pen. Introduced in 1992 and named to honour the founder of Waterman, it was discontinued in December 2015, since when prices have increased.
