The “Beatles Collection” of pens was released in 2011 starting with “Please Please Me”, designed in collaboration with the Beatles’ Apple Corporation. Each pen in the collection was made in a limited edition of 1000 pens and is long sold out (or as Acme Studio term it, “Archived”), Each pen is presented in a reproduction of the album cover and inside are the statistics on the album release and sales and the Beatles’ signatures. The pen is accompanied with a Matching card case with the edition number and graphic of the album cover.
The “Sgt Pepper” pen was released in 2012 and sold out in 2014. This pen is number 0248/1000 and This pen is mint, never used and complete with the outer box and cellophane wrapper.
The Beatles Collection is part of the PERMANENT COLLECTION OF THE ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME.
The album was released in the UK on June 1st 1967 and was in the charts for 148 weeks.
The pen came as a rollerball pen but I can provide the fountain pen converter if a fountain pen version is preferred. The nib is a smooth-writing German medium steel nib by Schmidt.
