A beautiful Waterman Edson sapphire blue mechanical pencil with gold plated cap and trim, as impressive as the matching Edson fountain pen. The pencil has been lightly used and is pristine, with spare leads in the leads compartment and an unused eraser under the cap. The cap has “Waterman: on the front of the band and “Paris” on the reverse. One side of the clip is engraved “France” and the other side is engraved with the serial number: 037954.
The pencil is in “as new” condition and will make a lovely set with the fountain pen. Edson pencils are actually more difficult to find than the ballpoints and fountain pens.

The same can’t be said for the boxes; it comes with the blue Edson case which has the typical crazing of the blue covering which has also discoloured the outer box. I cannot find the Edson documents.
