The “Beatles Collection of pens was released in 2011 starting with “Please Please Me”, designed in collaboration with the Beatles’ Apple Corporation. The collection was made in a limited edition of 1000 pens and is long sold out (or as Acme Studio term it, “Archived”), Each pen is presented in a reproduction of the album cover and inside are the statistics on the album release and sales and the Beatles’ signatures. The pen is accompanied with a Matching card case with the edition number and graphic of the album cover.
The “Abbey Road” pen was released in 2012 and sold out in 2014. This pen is number 0253/1000 and has been upgraded from rollerball to a fountain pen with a smooth German (made by Schmidt) steel medium nib and converter. The pens are made of brass with the graphics hand-applied.
