You could see this coming years ago, and it can all be laid at the feet of one person: the owner of the site/domain. Many, many people discussed, messaged, cajoled him to allow some oversight of the place, but for whatever reasons (and I have a number of theories), he just loved watching it die an ugly death. I won't miss it and if the only reason a person went there was to do sales, that can be done many places. It's a shame, but it's the Internet: stuff happens.
