I have been collecting pens for over 40 years. During that time I have acquired several complete lines of pens, including this set of all 25 fountain pens of the Sheaffer PFM's. This is perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire the complete set of PFM fountain pens: one of every five colors (grey, green, blue, black, burgundy) in Series I, II, III, IV and V. Every pen is in excellent or better condition, no significant scratches, no brassing. Every pen's snorkel system has been professionally restored at some point, including 12 last fall, and every filling system works well. A few pens are like new. Nib sizes include EF, F and M. The black PFM V pen nib was professionally modified to a CI. This sale also includes the matching PFM mechanical pencil for 13 of the pens, so there are 13 FP/MP sets and 12 individual PFM fountain pens, for a total of 38 instruments.
