This remarkable Fern snorkel has been in my collection for many years. It is an exceptional pen in all aspects. No dings, nicks, marks. No scratches other than usual micro scratches view with a mag glass.No brassing. It was professionally restored several years ago and the filling system works perfectly. The pen has an 18K extra fine nib, as marked on the nib collar (X5). The imprint is deep and exact.Sheaffer made the fern in only two models: Crest and the Valiant, and is the rarest/hardest color to find.
