This is an exceptional specimen of a Periwinkle Sheaffer Valiant Snorkel. Periwinkle is one of the hardest to find colors, and only two Snorkel models had full color periwinkle plastic: the Valiant and the Statesman. The pen was restored and used briefly several years ago. It has been stored in a case since then. The fill system has been tested again with water, and works just as it should. There are no cracks, dings, dents, and only micro scratches. There is no brassing. (The dark area on the cap band in the 2nd and 3rd photos is a shadow/reflection from the black stand base).
