Default Sheaffer Levenger Connoisseur) Seas Complete Set: 12 Pens

In 1997 the Levenger Company partnered with Sheaffer to revive the Sheaffer Connoisseur in an exclusive series of pens known as the Levenger Seas. The Levenger Seas were based on the Connoisseur model, but were made with translucent material, rather than the solid colors of the original Connoisseur. In addition, the nibs are 14K and were engraved with both the Sheaffer and Levenger names. Six models were produced, each representing a different sea.

Some of these Levenger models/colors can be found without too much difficulty; however, the turquoise (Tasman Sea) is extremely rare, and very rarely found. This set for sale includes the Tasman Sea fountain pen in mint condition, as well as a Tasman mint ball point.

It took me a number of years to complete this set, mainly because I wanted NOS or near mint pens, and because of the rarity of the Tasman pens. These are knock down gorgeous pens and I enjoyed the hunt, but as I begin my 9th decade, It's time to seriously curate my pens. This set of the Levenger Seas consists of the following:

1. Red (Red Sea) 14K broad nib, filled once, near mint. Mint ball point pen
2. Blue (Mediterranean Sea), 14K broad nib, mint. Mint ball point pen
3. Green (Aegean Sea), 14K medium nib, mint. Mint ball point pen
4. Yellow (Caribbean Sea), 14K medium nib, mint. Mint ball point pen
5. Turquoise (Tasman Sea), 14K broad nib, mint. Mint ball point pen
6. Purple (Adriatic Sea), 14K broad nib, near mint, filled once. Mint ball point pen
