For their second Writers Edition in 1993 Montblanc chose to honour Agatha Christie.
The pen is black with sterling silver snake clip with red ruby eyes wrapping coiled around the cap and a silver cap band. The pen has Agatha Christie’s signature on one side of the cap and the edition number on the other, 25372/30000. It is almost the same length as the 149 but slimmer.
The pen is a piston filler and the filler works perfectly. The special edition nib is 18k gold with rhodium overlay of the snake emblem.


I have owned the pen for about 20 years and used it a few times. It is in excellent condition and is a very pleasant to use, writing a smooth medium to fine line with well controlled flow.
I don’t have any of the edition boxes; I don’t think it came with the. boxes when I bought it.
