This is an Oldwin Classic fountain pen, featuring a refined torpedo shape and an oversized gold nib. These pens are made by Andre Mora of Mora Stylos in Paris. This is an older model, likely 15-20 years old, and predates ASC's involvement with Oldwin pens. So it's a 'good' one. This pen is crafted from a yellow acrylic recalling Parker's Mandarin Yellow Duofolds. The gold plated trim is very minimal, with a simple clip marked Oldwin.
The pen features a #8 solid gold medium nib. I think the nib is 18k gold, though it's not marked for size or gold content. It's simply marked 'Oldwin Paris'. I know that these large nibs are typically 18k. There is a jeweler's hallmark at the base of the nib, though it's not visible unless the nib is removed. The feed is ebonite. The nib is smooth with good ink flow. The pen has been inked to test, but appears looks like a new pen. Comes with correct Oldwin box but no papers. $750 gets it shipped to you.
