Vintage Danish Denmark Fountain Pen Store Display Glass Sign Penol Montblanc
This amazing reverse-painted glass sign was displayed in the major fountain pen store in Copenhagen, called Fyldepenne Magasinet (translates to “fountain pen magazine”), in the 1930s-1940s. This sign indicates that the store repairs all of the brands listed with original parts. “Vi repararer med originale reservedele” translates to “we repair with original spare parts.” Measures 16 ½ inches x 37 ½ inches. The sign features the actual logos of the most popular selling pens from the times in Denmark, including, Parker, Eversharp, Sheaffer, Montblanc, Big Ben, Waterman, Burnham, Penol, and Skribent. Excellent original unrestored condition obtained from a Danish collector in Copenhagen.

This incredible reverse-painted glass sign was displayed in the major fountain pen store in Copenhagen, called Fyldepenne Magasinet (translates to “fountain pen magazine”), in the 1930s-1940s. This sign indicates that the store repairs fountain pens. “Klatter den kradser den eller er der andre fejl. Vi reparerer den hurtigt og omhyggeligt. blir ny i Nygade” translates to “If it scratches, it scratches, or if there are other problems. We repair it quickly and carefully. It will be new in Nygade.” The sign features a beautiful painting of a Danish Montblanc 206 coral red fountain pen with an original Montblanc No. 6 nib that is leaking! Measures 16 ½ inches x 37 ½ inches. Excellent original unrestored condition obtained from a Danish collector in Copenhagen.
