In 2002 Parker in the UK launched a special edition to commemorate the company’s most successful pen, the Parker 51. It was based on the 1945 “Empire Cap” pen with cap and barrel jewels, silver “Empire” caps and blue diamond clips, but with a converter rather than the original 51 filler. It came in a “mock-croc” presentation case with special edition documentation and a choice of two colours, Black and Vista blue.
This pen is the Vista Blue with the silver Empire cap and a fine nib. I has been little used and is in excellent condition and complete with the case, Parker polishing cloth (unused), converter and ink cartridges, documentation and outer car box.
