As I have almost gotten my collection down to the 125 number I aimed for, I have no use for these two boxes. Both are no longer available. The first is from The Venlo Company, which was the premier maker of the finest wood pen cases in the world. This is their Burlwood 60-pen box. The Triple Burlwood veneer is engineered exclusively for Venlo combining timbers of maple, oak and ash to create an effect of great depth and dimension. Many layers of thick lacquer and hours of polishing are required to produce the one-of-a-kind, high-gloss finishes. This stunning case is lined in non-tarnishing cream suede and each tray slot provides ample space for every pen, even oversize, limited edition models, and is a must-have for collectors. The removable, brass-knobbed drawers are secured by lock and key. Box Dimensions: 14.5 x 9 x 7 inches. The box is in like new condition. There is not a mark on it anywhere. The interior is also in like new condition. Price is $520 shipped in USA. Paypal.
The second box is also by Venlo but I believe it is from its Vox division, which produced slightly less expensive boxes. This one is a 24-pen chest. It is crafted in African rosewood veneers, polished to perfection and trimmed with gold-plated or maybe brass fittings. Wide, padded pen slots are covered in cream lining and are designed to fit oversized pieces. Pen case has a beveled glass lid. Box Size: 14 x 9 x 4 inches. The outside of the box is in like new condition; the interior is like new too with the exception of one ink stain on one slot in the interior, which you can see in the picture. Price is $250 shipped in USA. Paypal is fine.
