Pelikan released the Polar Lights Special Edition pens in 2008 as part of its special Beauty of Nature Series. There were six separate themes, and three pens in each series: fountain, rollerball & ballpoint. Each pen is the 640 size. For sale here are the fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint of the Polar Lights special edition. All of the pens are new/unused, but the rollerball and ballpoint refills are naturally not viable. The fountain pen uses Pelikans piston fill, and the piston operate smoothly. The pen has a 14K medium nib.The fountain pen and ballpoint come in their original cases, as well as the outer cardboard boxes, which are clearly labeled and have edge wear.The Polar Lights case is the green one at bottom of last photo. Both cases are new, no wear at all.
