1. Signum De Divina Proportione FP in beautiful brown marble with vermeil trim, piston fill, circa 2000. Comes with a substantial monotone #6 18K gold Signum nib in a medium point. Knurled piston knob at the bottom of the barrel turns smoothly to extend and retract piston. A really big and striking pen (6”capped) I think has been dipped but is otherwise unused. Comes with inner and outer box (somewhat dog-eared). $155
2. Senator President in black resin with GF trim, piston fill, circa late 1980’s-mid 1990’s. The President was Senator’s offering to compete with Montblanc’s 149 and had several similarities. This pen is 147mm closed and is German made. It is also piston filled like the 149; however, to access the piston knob, the blind cap must be removed. These pens came with two-tone 18K gold nibs and two-tone stainless steel nibs like this one in a medium point. The feed is also ebonite. This pen has not seen ink and the visulated ink window is crystal clear. Cap band has engraved the initials “M.F.”. Comes in an oak pen box not original to pen. $100
3. T.W. Johnson and Son Unknown model FP in polished aluminum, GP trim, C/C, circa 1995. This Brentwood, CA company no longer exists, but they produced high quality pens such as the one offered here. Sports a monotone 18K gold Schmidt nib in a medium point. Cap snaps securely to barrel and posts securely to barrel end. There is an image of a bull engraved on the cap crown and a (company?) logo engraved on the side of the cap (not a scratch as I have other models with the same logo). Comes in the original T.W. Johnson and Son presentation box that has some blemishes. $85
4. Laban Classic Pearl FP with burgundy accent acrylic with GP trim, C/C, circa 2012. Laban originally introduced these pens as the Classic but changed the name to the 325 when they started producing different colors. Well made, full-size pen with good balance sports a German two-tone, stainless steel Laban 3952 nib in a broad point. This pen has not seen ink and comes with an unused Laban pump convertor in the Laban inner and outer box. $85
5. Montblanc 114 Motzart FP in in black “precious” resin, GP trim, cartridge fill, circa 2000. The smallest of the Meisterstuck series at 114mm closed. Cap screws on to barrel (rather than clutch closure) and also screws on the barrel to post. Sports a monotone Montblanc 14K gold nib in a broad point. I think pen has been dipped but appears otherwise unused. Comes in a hard clam shell Montblanc presentation box not original to pen. $130
6. Montblanc 114 Motzart BP with similar description to the FP above. Smooth twist action to the ballpoint mechanism. Also looks unused/minimally used; however, there is some plating wear on the clip ring where the serial # is located. Also comes in a hard clam shell Montblanc presentation box not original to pen. $100
7. Sheaffer Balance II Ballpoint in Aspen resin, GP trim, circa 1998. I believe this is model 874(?). Beautiful, rich combination of amber and blue resin chunks. I don’t see evidence that this pen has been used – no surface wear or defects. Comes with Sheaffer ballpoint refill in a generic pen box. $60
8. Waterman Carene FP in amber shimmer, GP trim, C/C, circa 1997. Sports the monotone 18K gold inlaid Waterman nib in a fine point (similar to the Edson). Gently used and otherwise in excellent condition. Comes with convertor in a Waterman presentation box. $100
9. Think “Twiggy” FP with chrome trim, C/C fill. Light green acrylic with chunks of red, yellow and black acrylic. Beautiful, well made low cost label from Krone. Comes with #6 size Think stainless steel nib in a medium point. Perfect girth and heft for a low cost pen. New and never seen ink. Comes with convertor along with attractive inner box and plain outer box. $45
10. Magna Carta Baron in blue strip, GP trim, roller clip, C/C, circa 2021, new and unused. Magna Carta is a new company based in India offering a number of striking pens. Everything about this pen is BIG, measuring 150mm closed, slightly bigger than the MB 149. Well machined as the resin stripes always match up when the pen is screwed closed. Sports a #8 Magna Carta gold plated, stainless steel nib in a broad point with an ebonite feed. Comes with unused convertor with registration card in a Magna Carta inner and outer box. $200
Thanks for looking,
Geoff
