First up is a Soennecken 222 Extra with a broad flexy nib. This is the Soennecken 222 extra, which makes it the first tier pen in the medium size. The pen is 5 inches closed and 5.75 inches with the cap posted. It is in near mint plus condition. The celluloid pattern is red herringbone. The celluloid is perfect; nice and shiny. The trim shows no brassing and is in wonderful condition. The nib is a 14k original to the pen and is a broad flexy nib. It is a piston filler and the famous click system works perfectly. This pen dates to the mid-1950s. A really excellent example of a pen that rivaled the Montblanc 146 during that era. Paypal. Shipped USA for $575. Overseas at cost.
Next up is a Montegrappa No. 6 from the late 1930s. New old stock when I got it. I have inked it a few times but it is the same like new condition. Spectacular green cream celluloid with a wonderful flexy extra fine nib. Button filler. The pen is 5.5 inches closed and 6.5 posted. $900 Shipped in USA; overseas at cost. Paypal.
Last one up is a Faber Castell from 1938. This has a really nice mottled celluloid reminiscent of the Montblanc WE Oscar Wild pattern. The pen is in near mint plus condition. The celluloid is flawless and shiny, the cap and end cap are shiny black. The pen is a button filler and it works perfectly. The pen is 4.875 inches closed and 6.375 inches posted. The trim is in excellent condition. The nib is a nice broad oblique and it gives really nice line variation. Shipped in USA for $445; overseas at cost.
