Visconti produced the Copernicus pens in the mid-1990s as a limited edition: 999 of each pen. The pen came in a beautiful blue, green and red celluloid, and has a very vintage look to it. This pen is the red celluloid, is in near mint condition, and has excellent transparency. It was recently serviced by Visconti, mainly to replace the clip, as the original clip had some minor pitting. The pen is crescent fill, and holds huge amount of ink. The pen has a 14K F nib and writes beautifully. It comes in its original wooden box with script. One of the hinges on the box is loose, and needs to be glued, although the box works properly as is. This is pen limited edition No. 720 of 999 red fountain pens. $450, which includes priority shipping in US. Thanks for looking. Please use DM or email (doug1808@gmail.com) for contact.
