The monotone gold medium nib and the ebonite feed are undeniably what we are used to see in Omas, and the pen writes beautifully. It is very, very smooth and juicy, with some modern softness Omas is known for. The piston operates perfectly well, and while it takes no effort, it is Omas-smooth, not Pelikan-smooth, as to be expected.
The pen has no discernible flaws, but I have definitely used it over the years, so it obviously does not qualify as mint.
As is usual for the pens I pass on, the satisfaction is guaranteed, provided the condition of the pen and the extras remains unchanged, and the buyer pays return postage.
The price is $265, and it includes PP fees and shipping (within USA).
I am selling a part of my collection in the coming weeks. I will also have higher tier pens (YOL Viceroy Grand Barley, Danitrio Maki-e and Urushi, Sailor ebonite KOP’s, St. Dupont Vertigo, Waterman Edson, Delta Inuit Special Edition, 70's split feed MB149, etc.), but would probably prefer to sell such to folks I recognize from my many past years on the boards, or those who can offer references. So, if you are interested, feel free to inquire.
