A beautiful Waterman DG (Directeur Général) set of fountain pen and ballpoint pen, sterling silver with blue lacquer inlays in the clip and barrel, new old stock in the original case, made in France c1972.
The DG was an innovative design by Alain Carré for Francine Gomez, the new top-of-the-range pen in a strikingly modern design launched in 1974.
The fountain pen is 14cm closed and has the converter for bottled ink and a medium nib. The ballpoint has a new refill. The set comes in the original case which is also in excellent condition.

The set is in mint condition, never inked and a strikingly beautiful example of modern ‘70s pen design.
