Vintage Montblanc 146R (Burgundy) Le Grand Fountain Pen. Out of Production!
This Montblanc 146R is a lightly/gently used pen. Circa: 1995. I believe Montblanc stopped production of these burgundy FPs in 2004. Recently back from being completely cleaned and tuned up, piston and seal working perfectly and pen is ready to fill and write with. Both cap and barrel are without flaws (shiny-smooth) and all gold-plated accents are scratch free and no plating loss. Pen appears and operates like new! The pocket clip’s upper ring is stamped both with serial number and GERMANY. The 2 tone, 14k nib is a Medium Point, very smooth writer. The piston mechanism is brass (See photos). Pen measures 5 5/8” capped and 6 ¼” posted. I do not have the original box, but this pen does come with a brand-new Montblanc Display Case, Instruction Pamphlet and Outer Box Sleeve!
