An early first year 51 Vac set with the date code 2Q’41, black barrel, metal cap and barrel jewels, silver cap with chevron band and blue diamond gold-filled clip. The pen has a fine 14k nib and aluminium speed-line filler. The matching pencil has the silver cap with metal jewel and gold-filled clip. The caps are fully marked sterling silver. The pencil has what looks to be an unused eraser.
The silver caps with fine line pattern are in excellent condition with only minor marks. The tan case is also in fine condition with the 51 logo on the top and the box number 254 on the bottom.
