A Parker 41 Debutante pen in turquoise; the 41 Debutante was only made for the three years, 1956 – 58, aimed at a younger generation with bright colours and striking cream and gold enamel fishscale caps. It used components from the successful Parker 21 de-luxe, including the very reliable aerometric filler from the 51 Special and 21 and the Octanium nib. The same size as a 21 deluxe, just very slightly shorter and slimmer than the Parker 51, the Debutante was priced between the models 21 and 51 at $8.75.
The pen has a medium nib. The pli-glass sac has excellent transparency with the imprint on the pressure bar: ”PARKER PEN COMPANY U.S.A.” and the instruction: “TO FILL PRESS RIBBED BAR FOUR TIMES”. The colour is excellent, there are a few marks on the hood visible under magnification. The enamel fishscale cap is in very good condition with just a little loss of enamel under the point of the clip; the gold fill with the cream enamel even more striking than in the pictures.
