MONTBLANC 1999 Marcel Proust Writers Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen (BP)


As a great writer and thinker, Marcel Proust always strove for the maximum depth of detail and precision – an aspiration shared with the Writers Limited Edition Marcel Proust ballpoint pen.
Every detail of this scarce limited edition displays truly superlative craftsmanship.
The trim is made of 925 sterling silver, as is the eight-sidedbarrel, which features fine engravings in the style typical of Proust’s main creative period (filigree is delicate and intricate ornamentation popular at the turn of the century).
The hexagonal 925 sterling silver barrel also bears the engraved signature of the writer from which it takes its name.
The top of the cap is surmounted by the ivory-coloured Montblanc star.
Despite a small scuff on one side barrel (see pictures), the ballpoint is in mint condition.
