The Agatha Christie was the second of Montblanc’s Writers limited editions, released in 1993. The edition included 25,000 ballpoint pens, 7,000 in sets and 18,000 individual pens, of which this is number 10899/25000, engraved on the cap alongside Agatha Christie’s signature.
The coiled snake clip is sterling silver with ruby eyes. The cap band is engraved “MONTBLANC MEISTERTUCK EDITION”.
(I am told the pen can also be used with Monteverdi Gel refills as well.)
The pen is in excellent condition having not seen much use. It comes without the boxes and documents, which is reflected in the price.
