Parker 75 limited edition “RMS Queen Elizabeth” released in 1977 to celebrate the retiring transatlantic liner which carried half-a-million American troops across the Atlantic in WWII to fight the war in Europe, unescorted she used her speed to elude enemy attacks. Refitted in 1946 she became the most famous of the fast and luxurious postwar transatlantic liners linking New York with Southampton.
The pen is made from brass recovered from the ship, with a green textured finish and a plaque on the barrel with the ship’s name. This pen is number 1387 of the edition of 5000, imprinted on the cap band. The pen comes in a green baize-lined wood box with a brass plaque bearing the ships image and details and a certificate of authenticity. The pen has a medium nib and is complete with the original converter.
