A rare Parker 75 “Keepsake” special edition in sterling silver; the Keepsake was only made for one year and hence its rarity.
The “Keepsake” was launched by Parker in 1967, inspired by Kenneth Parker as a pen to record the important events in your life... all the occasions you want to remember: “Anniversaries, Family Birthdates, Special Honors, Membership in Fraternal Organizations". The pen was made in plain silver with broad "stripes" for to engrave these life memories.
“Today they are so extremely rare, especially the solid gold pen, that collectors do not even know them well enough to collect them. Kenneth Parker used to carry his in his pocket. And former secretary of state, William P Rogers used his to sign the Vietnam peace agreement in 1973” (The Parker Penography).
This Keepsake has no personalization and comes complete with the case, converter, cartridges and nib adjustment tool. It is in “as new” condition; I do not know if it has ever been used.
