A Parker Falcon (Model 50) flighter pen in brushed steel with gold plated clip, new old stock (NOS) in the case.
The Falcon was designed after the model T1, which was withdrawn after only a year when it proved to be too costly to make in titanium. The Falcon was made of steel and with a simpler nib design, both lower cost to make and more rugged in use. Launched in 1978 with the integrated barrel and nib of the T1, it was a very successful design but non-the-less a short-lived model, withdrawn by 1982. At launch the Flighter was $25, a price which was increased to $30 after a year of good sales.
This pen comes with the converter and a fine nib.
