A fine Parker 61 Consort Insignia in 12k rolled gold, made in England c1970. The consort design of horizontal rings and vertical lines was new with the Parker 61
The cap has the imprint: “PARKER. MADE IN ENGLAND. 1/5 12Ct R.GOLD”.
The pen has the original converter. The 14k nib has a large ball of tipping and although it looks bigger it actually writes a very smooth fine line.
Closed the pen is 13.6cm and with the cap posted, 14.3cm.
It comes with the impressive Parker 61 cream and black polka-dot case.
A fine example of this impressive pen.
CONDITION: excellent, no scratches or dings to the rolled gold, excellent hood arrow, cap and barrel jewels, converter and a very smooth nib with lots of tipping. The case is in good condition with a few marks but closes well.
