A beautiful 23k gold plated Parker Sonnet fountain pen in the striking Athenes pattern of alternating gold and black lacquer. The pen has the French 18K gold nib with a medium point and a converter. It comes with case and outer card sleeve.

The Sonnet range was launched by Parker in 1994 as the high end successor to the Parker 75 and Premier, both aimed at the higher priced pen “gift market”. The pens were made in France and offered a similar range of finishes to the 75 laque and Vendome ranges. This pen has the manufacturing date code on the cap band for 1994. It is 13.4cm closed and 14.8cm with the cap posted.
