I have here a large offering of mint, NOS Japanese (and Japanese-adjacent) pens from the last 20 years or so. Please feel free to check out the list- there is some cool stuff here! Each pen is new and has full original packaging unless otherwise noted. Most have gold nibs. Sorry I didn’t take a picture of each pen. 1. Platinum Y2K LE, Chased Ebonite, 18k M, C/C Filler- This big pen was Platinum’s limited edition to celebrate Y2K. This is a really nice pen, with a faceted cap and barrel made from ebonite with a chased herringbone pattern and gold trim. Unique engraving on the firm 18k medium nib. Beautiful pen all around, NOS brand new in wooden box with all papers, converter, and ink bottle. LE #18/2000. Long sold out. $850 Shipped

2. Platinum Kamakura Pens LE, Shonan Coast, 14k Music, C/C Filler- This is the first in a series of collaborations between Dr. Ron Dutcher’s Kamakura Pens and Platinum. Called the ‘Shonan Coast’ this limited edition pen was created using the Kanazawa gold leaf maki-e technique, and features a scene of the coastline with several sailing ships. There’s a red-orange sun in the sky, and silver dust is used for the ships’ sails. It’s a beautiful pen. I believe the series was listed to 100 pieces, though they are not individually numbered. This one does not have its original box. The pen appears mint, though it may have been inked or dipped. It’s hard to tell. We’ll call it NM, no box or papers. 3. Platinum Maki-e, Cranes, 18k B, C/C Filler- This one is a fairly simple maki-e design featuring two cranes in gold. I believe this is an older design, no longer made. Looks hand painted and signed. The 18k nib is broad. NOS, including box, converter, and papers. $200 Shipped

4. Platinum Maki-e, Plum Warbler, Rollerball- This one is the current Plum Warbler maki-e design. Rollerball will likely need a new refill. NOS, including box and papers. $100 Shipped

5. Platinum, Black, 22k M, C/C Filler- Mint, stickers Platinum black resin fountain pen with medium 22k nib. NOS, including box, converter, and papers. $130 Shipped

6. Platinum BelAge, Black, 14k Music, C/C Filler- This was a NOS Platinum black lacquer over metal BelAge fountain pen with a 14k music nib. But I couldn’t resist dipping it to test it out. It’s a very nice writer, though not as broad as the 3776 music nibs. Basically new, including box, converter, and papers. $150 Shipped

11. Pilot Art Craft, Shogun, 18k M, C/C Filler- Beautiful Pilot Art Craft sterling silver fountain pen with a raised Shogun design. I believe this design is no longer produced. 12. Pilot 823, Clear Transparent, 14k M, Plunger Filler- The iconic Pilot 823, here in the less common clear, non tinted barrel. End caps, section, and inner cap are black. 18k medium nib. NOS, in large presentation box with papers and ink bottle. $325 Shipped

18. Dani Trio, Gunmetal, SS M, C/C Filler- This is a cool example of one of Dani Trio’s less expensive pens. Substantial in size and heft, with a satin gunmetal finish. Stainless steel #6 medium nib. New in box with converter. $50
