The seller is Jason Mei using seller names such as CaseSensitive, Casey, jjm5812, Chris, pen2find, J.M., Jay, and perhaps others I had not found.
I do not take this action without considerable thought and looking at all the threads, discussions and proof of intentional fraud.
This person has posted on at least three forums the same pens for sale, an Omas Arco and a RHR Waterman with Pink nib, each for $850. One PenMarket buyer indicated after repeated requests for the pen or refund, she finally received the pens, after a prolonged period of time. Another has repeatedly asked for refund and has not received it.
If you ever had or ever considered buying from this person, read this thread from FountainPen Geeks, 13 pages of comments documenting fraud and willful deception. Click on the last link shown to see the entire 13 page thread.
I would ask that if any Pentrace reader experiences obvious fraud from a seller to let me know.
Pentrace is not and can not be a legal source to resolve issues but I will promise that if I can see willful fraud and deception from a seller...I will let that seller know that the full weight of the law can be brought to bear unless the issue is resolved immediately to buyers satisfaction. There are laws concerning USPS mail fraud, interstate fraud, fraudulent use of interstate money transfer and probably more...as I am not a lawyer.
I am going to start another thread on PenMarket...How to protect yourself when buying on the internet.
Thanks for your reading this and if you have any comments, please post right here or reply to me anytime. I will always be here to help you resolve any issues to the best of my ability.
