In 2002 Classic Pens launched the sixth of their series of sterling silver pens in partnership with Pelikan, the CP6 Goethe Set, the most sought after of all the CP series pens. The two pens were based on the Pelikan M800 and M1000. Each pen is covered in guilloche sterling silver hand-engraved by the French engraver Marc Murelli.
Details of the design and making of the set can be found on the Lambrou Classic Pens website:
The edition was 500 sets; this set is number 004/500. Both pens in the set have fine 18k Pelikan two-tone nibs. (Of course, being Pelikan pens the nibs can easily be changed, simply unscrewed and swapped.)
Condition: Both pens have been used but only 2 - 3 times at home and are in as-new condition. They are complete with the presentation cases, card boxes and sleeves and documentation.
Price: £5000 for the set ($7000, €5700) including shipping
