Jade will next compete this week on Wed. Sept. 30th 2:30pm (PDT) & Thur. Oct. 1st 8am (PDT) in the 2026 Women’s World Team Selection Event in Crossville, TN.
On Day-1 all gymnasts will likely compete in the all-around.
On Day-2 most gymnasts will be asked to perform on two events (chosen by the committee) ... apparently some may compete one event, or three events.
Fifteen gymnasts were invited to participate … the top-13 all-around gymnasts from the U.S. Championships
(plus Jayla Hang & Leanne Wong who both petitioned into the event, but are still recovering from injuries so both withdrew).
Izzy Stassi (with Lila Richardson) competed at the Paris World Challenge Cup this past weekend;
it was reported that Stassi declined this invitation after she was assigned to the Paris competition, and so will not participate this week.

World Team Selection:
The Top-2 AAders, based on 60% of Selection Day-1 AA competition & 40% Championships 2-day combined AA score,
will be named to the 5-member World Team.
The selection committee will name the three additional gymnasts to the team on Oct. 1st sometime after the competition,
… plus one traveling, and one non-traveling, alternate.
