Some existing rules:
* NCAA Gymnastics Teams need a minimum of 9 total meets (to have a qualifying NQS) ... and can have a maximum of 13 meets (prior to Conference Championships) or 14 maximum counting toward the new NQS.
* Individuals will be ranked & qualify to Regionals using the existing NQS system (6 scores, 3+ are Away, drop high, avg the remaining 5).

New rules:
* Prior to Regionals/Nationals Seeding, a team needs to have competed a minimum of 5 away meets (& met the existing minimum total # of meets = 9+).

*No more than 5 home meets can be counted (any beyond are dropped ... only the lowest 5 home scores can count towards NQS; Also, only one meet at a "neutral" site withing 30 miles of home campus can be counted as an Away meet ... any others would be considered a home meet. The conference meet can been counted as Away even within 30 miles, in addition to the one above.)

Calculation of NQS:
* Sort all Home meets by score, drop any but the lowest 5 home scores.
* Add to these 5 scores all Away meet scores, sort all these scores high to low, drop the overall High and Low scores, and average the remaining scores to obtain the NQS.

Teams will be averaging between 7 (9 - 2) and 12 (14 - 2) scores in their NQS for Regionals/Nationals seeding.

OSU currently has scheduled 5 Home meets & 6 Away meets (with no conference meet), so 9 meets scores will be included in OSU's NQS ... any added home meet cannot increase an NQS, but (more likely) can lower NQS!

Utah currently has two regular season "neutral" site meets in West Valley City ... one will be an Away meet (for NQS) & one will be a 6th home meet (potentially lowering their NQS if it is not tied for highest or highest Home meet score). They also host the Big-12 Conference meet in West Valley City... but that will count as an Away meet.

Week 1 to 6: Average of all Meets
Week 7+: Same as above new formula, except obviously the requirement for a minimum of 9 meets, and a minimum of 5 away meets, do not apply until after Conference Meets.
