Alabama as a Regional Host didn't make this easy ... they finished in #12 with is a seed that will be paired with Host #4 Utah ...

(Note: In all of this I've not paid much attention to teams Ranked #17 to #36 ... that are just place holders in what I've posted below!)

Here is the starting point with the recognized pairing of the Seed #1 to #16 ... I've started by giving the Penn State Regional site to the #1 Seed ... since they (1/8/9/16) cannot be at Utah or Alabama ... & Seattle is farther away from them than Penn State.

I did not change the SEED numbers of Alabama & the other team being reseeded ... as they will when the assignments are announced on Monday!! This first list shows how the SEED numbers will be distributed (that doesn't change, only the teams beside the Seed numbers change)!

From this point I see two options ... they can simply give Host #12 Alabama the #11 Seed (Option-1)... which is paired with #14 OSU & #3, & & #6 Seeds.

But that would send the #2 Seed (with #7, #10, & #15) to the more distant Regional ... Seattle!

So the other option (Option-2) is to give Host #12 Alabama the #10 Seed ... which is paired with #2, #7, & #15 ... this would then send the #3 Seed to Seattle ... with #6, #11, & #14 OSU!!
