Jade Carey competes this Friday June 28th and Sunday June 30th in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

* The Top AAder (highest combined two-day total) at the Trials (Simone B.) will be named to the 5-gymnast Olympic Team … the Selection Committee will then select the other four based on the “Discretionary Selection Criteria” (of Sect 2.2 of the PDF below) … plus “up to” two traveling and two non-traveling “replacement” gymnasts.

The Peacock Main Stream & NBC broadcast should include the announcement of the Olympic team after the end of the competition on Sunday.

There are 16 gymnasts entered (the Top-14 AA at US Championships + Kaliya Lincoln & Shilese Jones).

Rotation 1 to 4 (only two events in each rotation):
Vlt-Brs, Brs-Bm, Bm-Flr, Flr-Vlt
(2-flights of 4 on each, with touch warm-ups between flights.)

Jade’s Day-1 Rotation is: Brs 3rd (1st flt); Bm 1st (1st flt); Flr 7th (2nd flt); Vlt 5th (2nd flt).
Jade’s Day-2 Rotation is: Vlt 6th (2nd flt); Brs 4th (1st flt); Bm 2nd (1st flt); Flr 8th (2nd flt)!
(Jade follows immediately after Simone B. on every event on Day-1, except Bm where Jade is 1st & Simone last. On Day-2 Jade immediately precedes Simone B. on every event, except Flr where Simone is 1st & Jade is last!)
