#14 Missouri (& all lower ranked teams) cannot reach OSU’s “current” NQS after this week’s meets.
**#13 Michigan State could pass OSU with two meets this week, although very unlikely, needing nearly two season highs to have a chance. #13 Michigan State competed tonight at Illinois (a meet that was postponed from 2/17 due to the mass shooting at MSU) ... so MSU still has TWO more meets this weekend on Friday (@EMU with LIU) and Sunday (Home vs BGSU & LIU) ... so with a current season high of 197.675 ... MSU could get an NQS as high (or higher) than 197.490 ... OSU's maximum potential NQS is 197.460 (if OSU scores a 198.075+ at ASU)!
So I don't know how likely it is they will pass OSU ... all I know is that no matter how high OSU scores MSU could pass OSU.
#9 Auburn (@UK 4pm PST 3/3) needs only a 197.225 to guarantee staying ahead of OSU. (If AU doesn’t, OSU would need a season high to tie them.)
To pass #10 Denver (vs Townson 1pm PST 3/5) OSU needs to score 0.200 higher (up to DU’s season high 197.650).
#12 UK (vs AU 4p PST 3/3) needs a 197.200 to pass OSU’s current NQS, OSU needs to outscore UK by 0.050 (up to UK’s season high of 197.875) to stay ahead.
197.925 for OSU guarantees (no lower than) 11th.
197.850 for OSU guarantees (no lower than) 12th.
Go Beavs!!,
