Currently FOUR OSU gymnasts are planning to participate in this year’s “Beavers Without Borders” trip!
Kristina Peterson was the fourth gymnast on this trip, a
Currently 13 female student-athletes +1 female OSU Athletics staff member & +1 male professor ate signed up to go!

(BWOB returns after a 3-year absence due to Covid. I think the first BWOB trip may have been the 2011 trip to Guatemala that Mandi Rodriguez went on ... I started to make a list of all the trips that OSU gymnasts have gone on, but I know it isn’t complete, so I won’t list them here, but more than a dozen different gymnasts have traveled to at least 3 different countries. Shout-out to Erika Aufiero who went on three BWOB trips!!)

This year’s BWOB trip is to Panama and is being led by “Courts for Kids” (a Vancouver, WA based charitable organization) to help a village build a multi-use sports court.

So far, the gymnasts going on this trip are Senior Jenna Domingo, Freshman Jennifer McMillan, Sophomore Kaitlin Garcia, and Grad Student Kristina Peterson!
(Currently 15 have joined the trip with openings for 10 more.)

Each student athlete needs to raise $3000 to contribute to the cost of the project and their travel expenses ... in addition, the first $1200(40%) was due on January 15th and the remaining $1800(60%) is due by April 15th.

After clicking on "Show Your Support", on the donation page, under "I want to give to" select "Beavers Without Borders Fund", after clicking "NEXT", on the second screen of the donation process in the "Comments" field type "on behalf of" followed by the gymnast's name.
