this is Jade’s fifth year on the team (2017-18, 18-19, 19-20, 21, & 2022).

* The top-2 AA finishers from this week’s competition (Konnor McClain & Shilese Jones) automatically qualified to the World Team Selection Camp (Oct 20-22 in Katy, TX). An additional 6+ athletes from the Championships (& petitioned athletes) will be invited to the selection camp. I assume Jade will accept the invitation that is coming her way. One gymnast not in the all-around this weekend (due to slight “injury” on Day-1) that will be invited will be Leanne Wong (T-1st on Bars, T-5th on Beam).

* The Top-AA finisher at Day-1 (AA competition) of the Selection Camp will automatically qualify to the World Team; the remaining 5 members of the team will be announced at the end of the 2-day camp. (The sixth member of the team is the "reserve", and will not compete at Worlds, but who the 6th is may not be determined until as little as 24 hours before the start of Qualifications.)
