Now, in the 36 years of these awards (25 Pac-10s & 11 Pac-12s), GOTY has been awarded to 22 Seniors (two 5th-year), 5 Juniors, 8 Sophomores, AND one Freshman!!
OSU has won 8 ... Joy Selig (Sr.), Chari Knight (So. & Sr.), Mandi Rodriguez (Jr.), Leslie Mak (Jr. & Sr.), Kaytianna McMillan (Sr.), Jade Carey (Fr.). (UCLA-20, Stanford-3, Utah-3 of 9, ASU-1, Arizona-1).
Five of the 8 Sophomores also won as Seniors (Tanya Service, Jill Andrews, Chari Knight, Leah Homma, & Elizabeth Price)! Tanya was the 1st Pac-10 GOTY, Leslie Mak was the last Pac-10 GOTY AND the 1st Pac-12 GOTY!
