OSU travels dramatically farther than any other team except #30 Temple (who travels ~400 miles less than OSU, from Philadelphia to SLC, if you include OSU's drives to PDX & from ATL to Athens!)
Two teams that were placed based on geography ... ignoring the 29-36 as play-in teams ...
#29 Kent State was sent to the closest Regional WVU & doesn't have to play-in ... & #26 NC State who was closer to Athens was sent there for a play-in meet! NC State is ~25 miles farther from Athens than WVU!
