Welcome to the
Unofficial Message Board for Oregon State Gymnastics!
"Conference offices will select up to two nominees each from their pool of member school nominees. ..... Then, the Woman of the Year selection committee, made up of representatives from the NCAA membership, will choose the Top 30 honorees — 10 from each division. From the Top 30, the Woman of the Year selection committee will determine the top three honorees in each division and announce nine finalists. The NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics then will choose the 2020 NCAA Woman of the Year, who will be named this fall." I don't know if I'm missing anyone?

Pivec, Lowery Selected as Nominees for NCAA Woman of the Year
In recent years ... each Pac-12 school nominate 1 student-athlete... but can nominate 2 if one is an international student (check!) or woman of color(check!) (as in 2017 when OSU nominated Taylor Ricci & Sydney Wise)... then the Pac-12 selects two from the Pac-12 Conference nominees (up to 24). This year Pac-12 schools nominated 11 women! 605 were nominated across all three Divisions (I, II, & III).
Previous OSU nominees (besides Taylor & Isis)...
Stephanie McGregor was (one of?) OSU's nominees in 2013.
(Earlier it was done by State.)
2003 Elizabeth Jillson was the nominee for the Sate of Oregon.
1998 Deanne Droegemueller was the nominee for the State of Oregon.
Go Beavs!!,
Richard
