I think this is a pretty good pairing for OSU, but even if not the vvery best, I'm hoping for Champaign Illinois becasue it looks like I will be there if that is where OSU is sent ... as I did last year I booked a flight (last year to Georgia) the day before since I have 24-hours to cancel the flights without a cost! Chicago (ORD) is just over 150 miles from the campus in Champaign. I purchased (tentativey) Alaska direct PDX-ORD ... arrive mid afternoon and leave late afternoon ... had to do a Monday return to "save" ~$200 on the flight but spend another $135 for a hotel and another $35 on a retal car ... hmmm ... so maybe I save $30?
