First dive on the new boat, ran south to the Sachem out of barnegat. We had about 20 to 25' vis and a cool 47 deg bottom.. Looks like someone hit it not too long before we did. No bugs but managed a few fluke and sea bass. Still have some kinks to work out with the new boat/setup but VERY happy to be back on the water. Howard, we passed you in oyster creek, honked and tried to hail you via VHF. You couldn't see our tanks or ladder as everything was down laying on the deck so I'm sure you had no idea who we were or why we were honking and waving! LOL hope you guys had a good day out!

I didnt realize you were there. I am sure I did not hear the horn over the diesel. Glad you got out. We keep talking about going down to the sachem but have been putting it off.
